Triplet Nursery

Monday, February 29, 2016

My super awesome handy man husband transformed our nursery.
(With my design guidance of course)

First we sheet rocked, sanded and textured the walls.
Then put in the new flooring, and The accent wall

{befores}

I've taken up the motto {awhile ago} less is more.
{unless your talking about diapers and wipes, and in that case more is more!}

{afters}
When you have a very small space every.inch.counts.!
So I've shown ways we've tired to maximize space. First major hurdle is we don't have a "real" closet, but eventually the rod will go all the across versus the small sections, and the dresser will move to another wall. The dresser is stock up with tons of sleepers/onesies/swaddles -matching sets of 3-
I've been really impressed with how we've made it work.

Next storage- Under cribs- AKA Diaper/wipe stock pile storage
We've managed to fit over 1000 diapers, and 10 boxes of wipes. {and still going}.
A peak of our wipe pile and just a few diapers.

The compact book shelves are ideal, small, functional and handmade (aka cheap!)

And I have a hanging organizer behind the door with my random small stuff.
Snuzas, batteries, samples, etc.

Impressed by a company that has such a love for their fans and supportive of multiple families.
We can't wait to have our babies enjoying them in a month!

We are 31 weeks today!
We are so excited to be meeting them at some point in the next month.
We can not believe we've made it this far, we are thankful for my health and theirs.
GOD IS GOOD.

  1. Your Instagram and your blog have given me hope I have not been as consistent as others but you have remained in my heart. My husband and I lost our first born a beautiful little girl at 22 weeks six days due to incompetent cervix. She was born July 15, 2015 I received my abdominal cerclage in August 2015 in unexpectedly found out that I was pregnant Christmas Eve 2015. Our first child was conceived with the supportive and infertility specialist and this baby is just a blessing from God and appeared before eyes . We remain hopeful and prayed up that God will allow and has a plan for us to love hold and grow with this child. It is hard to escape the fear but I told myself that I am a child of God therefore I should fear no more. We have kept this pregnancy fairly quiet and can't really decide the best time to share.... I will be 18 weeks tomorrow and we are pregnant with another girl I am due August 6 but will likely have a C-section late July. Much like yourself the dates coincide so perfectly I know that my first child is in charge her name is Huntington Mae Lillian Barnum 🐝and her sister Lenox-Mae Lilybeau Barnum 🐞 Will teach us so much along this journey we call life. Your story... your grace...your belief....brings me such peace and hope. I just want to say thank you...good luck and I know things will turn out amazing for you your little babies and your husband 😘

  2. Thank you so so much! <3
    CONGRATS. Hang in there. Listen to your body, sometimes only we know what is going on... don't always rely on the doctors. I pray they are watching you closely and you bring home your miracle. It's an amazing thing. <3 XO
